Civil Services Preliminary Result 2014

Result of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2014 held on 24/08/2014 has been declared by the UPSC. Qualified candidates of prelims will be eligible for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2014 to be held from 14/12/2014.

Successful candidates have to fill DAF (Detail Application Form) online to sit in the Civil Services Mains examination. DAF will be available on the UPSC website from 28/10/2014 to 11/11/2014. After submitting the DAF online, candidates have to send printed copy of the DAF (CSM) with all the required documents to the following address by 18/11/2014, 5:00 PM

The envelope containing the DAF should be supercribed with "Application for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2014". Candidates can also submit the DAF to the UPSC counter by hand before 18/11/2014, 5:00 PM.

CDS-II Examination 2014 – Download Admit Card


Admit card for Combined Defense Services (II) Examination, 2014 can be downloaded from the UPSC website upsconline.nic.in. Candidates can download e-Admit Card from the website till 26/10/2014.

Candidates can download e-Admit Card using any of the three options given below:
  1. Registration No + Date of Birth
  2. Roll Number + Date of Birth
  3. Name + Father's Name + Date of Birth

Steps to download e-Admit Card


Step 1: Go to http://upsconline.nic.in/eadmitcard/ and click on "Click here" link in the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2014 row.

Step 2: Read the Important Instructions carefully, scroll down and click on "Yes" button.

Step 3: Select an option, By Registration Id, By Roll Number or By Name, fill your details and click on "Submit" button to download the admit card.
